Mixed 4s League
Start Date is May 4th......
We are making and attempt to initiate a Cardiff-based local beach league, to allow players around the Cardiff and District area, the opportunity to play in a formal, organised event, over a 6 week period.
The format - 18 teams ( MIXED 4's - 2 male 2 female ) - divided into 2 random pools of 9 teams. These pools will play a regular series of triangular fixtures over a 3 week period ( designated either a Wednesday or Thursday, depending on the pool allocated ).
The results of these preliminary pools will determine - after the 3 week of fixtures - which team will be placed into the Cup Pool or the Plate Pool, for the following 3 weeks of triangular fixtures, again on a Wednesday or Thursday evening, depending on the pool placement, to arrive at LEAGUE CUP WINNERS and LEAGUE PLATE WINNERS.
Each team, in each of the pools ( Prelims, Cup and Plate ) will play 8 fixtures - so 16 fixtures overall. Which works out about 63p per game !!
Matches will start at 6.00pm each evening and be timeset. More information when entry is submitted.
